Poultry breeding company Baromfi-Coop has plans to build a plant that would process 60,000 metric tons of poultry manure pellets a year.

The pellets processed at the facility will be used as fertilizer, according to a report from Budapest Business Journal.

The planned facility will be located near the town of Baktalórántháza, which is in the northeastern part of Hungary. The company intends to invest HUF2.52 billion (US$9.7 million) for the project, and the facility is expected to employ 15 people.

Potential for further growth
