Aviagen North America expands portfolio

Customers will now have increased flexibility and opportunities.

Aviagen North America announces the expansion of its service offerings with the introduction of multiple shorter course modules alongside its existing month-long Production Management School. These new modules, available throughout the year, will provide customers with increased flexibility and opportunities for knowledge exchange.

New modules address customer and industry needs

The newly added modules will focus on specific management topics such as hatchery, breeder and broiler management, tailored to the specific needs of customers. Key areas covered include veterinary care, nutrition, ventilation and more. Each module will combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training to empower participants to excel in their roles and optimize bird performance, health and welfare at their operations.

Successful module implementation

In collaboration with Jamesway Incubator, a hatchery equipment manufacturer, Aviagen recently hosted a hatchery workshop module from April 8-11 at its Development and Training Center in Albertville, Ala. Led by experts from Aviagen’s Global Incubation team and Jamesway, the workshop provided attendees with valuable insights into embryo development and hatchery performance improvement.

Eddy van Lierde, global head of incubation services at Aviagen, emphasized the importance of continuous improvement, stating, “Aviagen is committed to ensuring our customers’ success by providing them with the latest tools and knowledge.”

Taylor Davis, digital marketing and events specialist at Aviagen, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the hatchery module and anticipates welcoming customers to future modules.

Keith Bramwell, PhD, director of hatchery consultancy for Jamesway, echoed the sentiment, stating, “We were honored to collaborate with Aviagen on this well-attended hatchery workshop module.”
