Pig meat processor Danish Crown appoints new chairman

Danish pig producer Erik Bredholt has been appointed the new chairman of the board at pig meat processor, Danish Crown. Bredholt has a pig enterprise of 550 sows in eastern Jutland, Denmark, that produces about 14,500 slaughter pigs per year and a further 1,500 weaned pigs annually that are supplied to other finishing units, according to Danish Crown.

Bredholt has a pig enterprise of 550 sows in eastern Jutland, Denmark, that produces about 14,500 slaughter pigs per year and a further 1,500 weaned pigs annually that are supplied to other finishing units, according to Danish Crown. Bredholt has been a member of the company’s board of directors since 2001, and has served as deputy chairman for the past five years.
