With corn prices at or near all-time highs, there must be new solutions for producing feed for the poultry and other meat industries. A three-person panel consisting of Jerry C. Weigel, a feed nutritionist; Dr. Peter Ferket, a nutritionist; and Dr. Keith Behnke, an expert in feed milling, address questions such as the following: How should we shift our global view of corn and its usage?; From an economic point of view, is there a need for a new paradigm? If so, what should it look like?; In looking at alternatives, can we be certain that nutritional needs will be met?; What does the feed mill of the future need to look like? What should we expect from our milling operations? Is retrofitting a possibility, or should we anticipate new construction? This podcast sponsored by Kemin.
