JSR Genetics wins Queen's Award for enterprise in international trade

JSR Genetics Ltd. has won the 2012 Queen's Award for enterprise in international trade. The company previously won the award in 1993, but outbreaks such as foot and mouth disease meant it took a number of years to re-build breeding stock exports relative to competitor nations, according to JSR.

JSR Genetics Ltd. has won the 2012 Queen's Award for enterprise in international trade.

The company previously won the award in 1993, but outbreaks such as foot and mouth disease meant it took a number of years to re-build breeding stock exports relative to competitor nations, according to JSR. In the first week of July, JSR Genetics exported 850 breeding pigs to the company's joint venture pig breeding company in Wuhan, China.
