Gina Sheets has been named the director of the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.
She has previously been an employee of the department, as the director of economic development and international trade. Before joining the agency, she served as economic development director and CEO of the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce.
Sheets and her husband Travis raise pasture poultry and beef, free-range hens, rainbow trout and produce.
