The widespread drought and extreme weather conditions in North America in 2012 created all of the right conditions for a storm of toxins in last year’s harvest, leaving many industry experts questioning how to best mitigate the problem.  Alltech’s first North America Mycotoxin Management Summit plans to address many of these issues and share the latest in mycotoxin research and development.

“Making Sense of the Maze... New Strategies for Old Problems” will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Lexington, Ky., April 4-5. The Summit aims to provide an open forum for discussion on mycotoxin research and analysis, as well as an opportunity to present the newest applications in mycotoxin management.

“This Summit will examine the extent of the broad spectrum mycotoxin challenge facing North America livestock and poultry producers, and the actions needed to safeguard the quality of their feed, the health of their animals and, ultimately, their profits,” said Nick Adams, global sales director for Alltech’s Mycotoxin Management Team.
