Preston Scroggin has been named director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission

Preston Scroggin has been named director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. His appointment was announced January 24 by Governor Mike Beebe.

Scroggin, 46, is a resident of Vilonia, Ark. He is a Faulkner County judge and president of the County Judges' Association of Arkansas. The commission’s previous director, Steve Bryles, died in December 2012.
