Attendee numbers continue to rise as end of EuroTier approaches

EuroTier 2014’s visitor numbers were up at the midway point of the exhibition, and those numbers are forecast to exceed those of the previous edition of EuroTier.

At the half way stage, visitors to Germany’s livestock production event had reached 75,000 attendees, roughly equivalent to the number of visitors at the same stage in 2012, the last time the event was held. The event’s organizers note that particularly high numbers of attendees had come over the opening days from Eastern Europe, North Central and South America.

During the final days of the show, visitor numbers are thought to have risen, suggesting that attendance this year will be higher than the last time the show took place, report the exhibition’s organizers, the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG).
