Veterinarian Chris Salentijn has joined Provimi, part of Cargill's animal nutrition business, as key account manager for the Middle East and northern Africa region. A Dutch national, Salentijn is based in Rotterdam, but will travel frequently within the region. As part of the sales team, his focus will be on key account management, business development and technical support in the poultry and ruminant sectors.
Salentijn graduated at the end of 2012 as a farm animal veterinarian from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. In addition to his course work, he worked as a part-time recruitment consultant for leading veterinary and pharmaceuticals businesses in the Benelux region. He recruited for a range of vacancies in sales, marketing, technical services, registration and management.
