GEA Air Treatment GmbH offers Multisack SepTex filters for the food industry. These bag filters have antibacterial properties on the filter fleece, according to the company. The filters are designed to kill pathogens or to inhibit their proliferation. SepTex bag filters are available in Classes F5 and F7. In addition to its antiseptic action, this filter is also available in a fire-protection model – FireTex – which does not develop smoke or form droplets, GEA says.
