A 300,000-metric-ton feed production facility came online on March 16 in the Chinese City of Xingyang. The project was built by Henan Guanglian Agricultural Group Co. Ltd., (Guanglian Group) and will specialize in producing complete feeds and suckling piglet feeds.
According to sources, Guanglian Group was established as a feed company in Zhengzhou in January 2005. Since that time, the company has expanded to cover various aspects of the livestock and poultry industry, with operations in Zhengzhou, Xiangcheng, Anyang, Mengjin, Linying, and Qixian among other areas, producing 180,000 metric tons of dehydrated corn annually, according to a report provided by Smart Agriculture Analytics.
Recently, Guanglian Group also imported 600 pigs from Canada.
