Poultry group Moy Park's pretax profits went up 51% in 2010, to €32 million (US$42.2 million), boosted in part by the company's acquisition of O'Kane Poultry.
According to the company, an increase in raw material costs was offset by strong sales growth and the acquisition. Operating profit reached £31.6 million in 2010 compared to £17.8 million in 2009.
