Speakers

Speakers for this webinar will be Raj Murugesan, a technical specialist at Biomin USA Inc., and Eva Maria Binder, chief research officer at ERBER AG.

Murugesan has a degree in veterinary medicine and a PhD in nutritional physiology from Iowa State University. He has worked extensively in various research and technical positions in the livestock industry worldwide and authored several scientific publications. His research is primarily focused on the effects of stressors such as pathogens, endotoxins and mycotoxins on the intestinal health and energy metabolism of poultry species.

Binder obtained her Masters in Chemistry and PhD in biochemistry and biotechnology from the Vienna University of Technology and joined Biomin as research and development project manager for mycotoxin detoxification and analysis. She was appointed director of strategic research in 1996 and then as chief scientific officer of Biomin and Romer Groups in 2003. In 2005, she became the chief research officer at ERBER AG.
