Nutraferma, a biotech solutions company, has named Dr. Peter K.S. Chu as vice president for global business. In this role, Chu will drive new business ventures for the international company. His immediate focus will be given to the fast developing Asian and South American markets.
Chu received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in monogastric animal nutrition from Seoul National University and received an MBA from the University of the Philippines in 2003. Throughout his career, Chu has had diverse experience -- from feed mill and farm operations to diet formulations. He has been involved with overseas operations in the livestock feed industry for the last two decades.
"We are pleased to welcome Dr. Chu to this new role. His expertise in the industry will surely help us in the developing markets of Asian and South America," said Eric Lohry, president. "In 2014, we anticipate launching Nutraferma's products in even more markets. Dr. Chu will be a key component to driving these sales as well."
Dr. Chu will be based out of the Nutraferma Asia office in Seoul, Korea.
