O.K. Foods Inc. is a fully integrated chicken producer based in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The company was founded as a feed maker in the 1930s and grew into one of the largest poultry companies in the country. In November 2011, OK Foods was acquired by and integrated into Mexican food company Industrias Bachoco, one of the world’s largest poultry companies. It employs 4,300 at locations spread over three states. It operates as a subsidiary of Industrias Bachoco. O.K. Foods produced an estimated 15.3 million pounds of ready-to-cook chicken in 2023. Its 2022 sales were $1.22 billion, an increase from $964 million the prior year. O.K. Foods' sales break out is 53% retail and 45% foodservice. Its product forms are 47% fresh and 53% frozen. At point of sale, its products are 61.3% cut-up, 34.2% raw further processed and 4.5% cooked. Its sales channels are 45% foodservice and 53% retail.
