Ozark Mountain Poultry (OMP), a family owned company based in Rogers, Arkansas, is expanding its operations as it prepares to open a poultry deboning facility in Warren, Arkansas. The deboning plant will be located at a former poultry facility located at 110 Industrial Park Drive, just south of Highway 278 in Warren.

Production at the plant is scheduled to begin October 1.

OMP will initially employ approximately 124 people from the Warren area with opportunities to add a second shift and double its employment in the future.

The facility will help the company meet the progressively growing demand for its products.

“We are very happy to be opening this facility in Warren,” said Ed Fryar, CEO of Ozark Mountain Poultry. “Warren is a wonderful community, and we’ve been able to hire great employees that will help us bring great chicken to consumers across the country.”

OMP produces premium quality chicken for the restaurant industry and its products are also available at a variety of grocery retailers throughout the U.S. through its consumer-based brand Forester Farmer’s Market.

Warren Mayor Bryan Martin, Chamber of Commerce President Dave King and other local officials will join Fryar and members of the OMP team for an upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony and the official opening of the facility.
