Quick service restaurant chain Shake Shack will at least temporarily add chicken to its menu, as the company is testing a chicken sandwich known as the Chick'n Shack.

The new sandwich – the chain’s first chicken sandwich -- is being introduced in three of the Shake Shack locations in Brooklyn, New York. The chicken sandwich campaign began on July 7, and the company stated that the sandwich will be offered for a limited time.

The Chick'n Shack sandwich includes a crispy all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast with lettuce, pickles and buttermilk herb mayonnaise.

Shake Shack, founded in 2004 and headquartered in New York, has multiple locations in 12 U.S. states and in the District of Columbia. The chain also has an international presence, with locations in major cities including London, Istanbul, Dubai and Moscow. The company’s mission, according to the Shake Shack website, is to “Stand for Something Good.”

A publicly traded company, Shake Shack is listed in the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol SHAK.
