Pig genetics supplier TOPIGS introduced its new Nador concept, which the company says makes it possible to select and use finisher boars that produce offspring with 40 percent less boar taint. The company says it will introduce the Nador concept in its Top Pi and SNW Pietrain-Select lines in Germany and the Netherlands first, with plans to make the concept available in other countries in the future.

The company says it will introduce the Nador concept in its Top Pi and SNW Pietrain-Select lines in Germany and the Netherlands first, with plans to make the concept available in other countries in the future. Besides boars selected on low boar taint, the Nador concept also contains a tracking and tracing system.
