British Pig Executive publishes pig ventilation guide

Practical advice on ventilation in straw-bedded systems has been published in a new guide from the British Pig Executive environment team, called “Providing pigs with good ventilation in straw-bedded general purpose buildings.” Many growing and finishing pigs are kept in straw-bedded pens in naturally-ventilated buildings in Europe and other part of the world, said a spokesman.

Practical advice on ventilation in straw-bedded systems has been published in a new guide from the British Pig Executive environment team, called “Providing pigs with good ventilation in straw-bedded general purpose buildings.”

Many growing and finishing pigs are kept in straw-bedded pens in naturally-ventilated buildings in Europe and other part of the world, said a spokesman.
