A new Farbest Foods turkey plant is set to open in Vincennes, Ind. Plans for the future Farbest Foods turkey plant were announced in 2011, when the company stated it would invest $69 million on a 220,000 square-foot building to sit on 100 acres of land.

According to news reports, the Farbest Foods processing plant is expected to open within a week of November 29. The Farbest Foods plant in Vincennes is expected to employ about 300 people, with a possibility of more workers being added if a second shift is added.
