New reports of DON in corn come from US, Canada

One U.S. state and one Canadian province have new confirmed reports of deoxynivalenol (DON) in corn, according to Neogen’s Mycotoxin Report from October 31.

One U.S. state and one Canadian province have new confirmed reports of deoxynivalenol (DON) in corn, according to Neogen’s Mycotoxin Report from October 31.

The new reports came from Ohio and Ontario, Canada. Previous reports of DON have come from:

  • Michigan
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Iowa

Fumonisin

Previously confirmed reports of fumonisin in corn have come from:

  • Missouri
  • Texas
  • Illinois
  • Oklahoma

Aflatoxin

Previously confirmed reports of aflatoxin in corn have come from:

  • Oklahoma
  • Louisiana
  • Kansas
  • Alabama
  • South Carolina
  • North Carolina
  • Georgia
  • Texas

Zearalenone

One previously confirmed report of zearalenone came from Iowa.
