Visitors to VIV Asia 2017 will have a chance to learn more about global broiler trends with an Asia focus through a presentation by Pelayo Casanovas, general manager, Cobb Asia-Pacific.

VIV Asia 2017 will be held March 15-17 in Bangkok. Register to attend VIV Asia 2017.

Casanovas' presentation is being sponsored by WATT Global Media and is scheduled for 2-3 p.m., March 16, in Room 217. The presentation will cover the following topics:

1. Global and Asian market dynamics

Learn more about market structure, consumption drivers, consumption and production challenges, globalization vs. protectionism and global supply issues, and trade.

2. Animal welfare and antibiotic-free poultry production

Learn more about animal welfare trends and implications, as well as more about antibiotic-free production.

The last VIV Asia, held in 2015, drew 38,422 visitors to the exhibition and 3,496 to the conferences and seminars. That comprises 21,723 foreign visitors from 124 countries, including animal protein business leaders from every single Asian country.
