Butterball Foodservice is providing more ways to serve turkey by introducing Farm to Family by Butterball — a line of no-antibiotics-ever, all-natural turkey, raised on family-owned farms and fed an all-vegetarian diet.

The Farm to Family line consists of turkey burgers, ground turkey, turkey breast and ready to cook roasts, and each of its eight products can be used in an assortment of menu items.

Richie Jenkins, senior director of marketing for Butterball Foodservice, said: “We added no-antibiotics-ever turkey to the Butterball portfolio because we know that many consumers and operators would rather eat and serve proteins raised without antibiotics. Everyone has different opinions about food, and we believe in giving our customers choices. The breadth of the Farm to Family line enables chefs to explore the culinary versatility of these new offerings.”

Butterball introduced the Farm to Family line for retail consumers in April 2016.

Butterball, according to the WATTAgNet Top Poultry Companies Database, is the largest turkey company in the United States. In 2016, Butterball slaughtered an estimated 1.38 billion pounds of live turkeys.
