PMI Nutritional Additives announced Sept. 7 the hiring of five experts to support its growth strategy as it expands its line of livestock feed additive products.

PMI Nutritional Additives announced Sept. 7 the hiring of five experts to support its growth strategy as it expands its line of livestock feed additive products.

“We are excited to continue building our team with top talent,” says Adam DeRosier, General Manager of PMI Nutritional Additives. “Each will bring their unique experience and perspective to strengthen our team for continued growth.”

A key component to PMI’s success has been the practical insights and expertise in how to use products in US-based formulations as well as a deep understanding of the health, management, and nutrition dynamic within each specie group. With additional talent, extensive research capabilities and strong partnerships with industry-leading companies across the world, PMI Nutritional Additives continues to deliver advanced feed additive competency.

Benjamin E. Bass, Ph.D. recently joined the company as a Swine Research and Technical Support Manager. His prior experience includes working for Diamond V and conducting research for USDA. His Ph.D. is from the University of Arkansas, and he has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, scientific abstracts, and technical publications.

Marcia Itle-O'Connor has recently joined the team as Technical Sales Specialist for the Northeast region. Her passion for the dairy industry developed on her families fourth-generation dairy farm and creamery. She brings with her 10 years of sales experience in the industry working with companies such as: Alltech and Feed Components. She holds a degree from Penn State in Animal Science.

Brynn Kepler joins the team as Technical Sales Specialist for the upper Midwest (South Dakota, Western Minnesota, Northwest Iowa, and Northeast Nebraska). She brings deep industry knowledge from varied roles in Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, American Association of Meat Processors and most recently at Hubbard Feeds as an Account Manager. She holds an MBA in Food and Agribusiness from Delaware Valley College.

Katrine Parmley-Gates has assumed the role of Formulation Specialist. She brings more than 20 years of experience in feed formulation, quality control, and forage analyses. She has a Master’s in Animal Science from Washington State University and is a former member and past chairperson of the Feed, Grain, and Alliance Industries Executive Committee of PennAg Industries Association.

Brad Peissig has assumed the role of Technical Sales Specialist supporting producers in Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota. Prior to joining the team, he spent 21 years as a Livestock Production Specialist, and most recently as sales supervisor at Land O’Lakes. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business at the University of Wisconsin.
