Taiwan to procure 60,000 metric tons of US corn

Cargill secured the bid over the December contract on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Taiwan's Members Feed Industry Group purchased 60,000 metric tons of U.S. corn from Cargill Inc., The China Post reported.

The procurement, done through bidding, saw Cargill sell 54,000 metric tons of corn for US$202.99 a metric ton and the rest for US$2.11 per bushel over the December contract on the Chicago Board of Trade.
