Delacon offers phytogenic feed additive FRESTA F for weaned piglets, approved for use in the EU. The additive is a preparation of partially micro-encapsulated essential oils from caraway and lemon, dried spices and dried herbs. According to the company, FRESTA F has the potential to improve the growth rate of weaned piglets, and can be used at a dose range of 250–400 mg/kg complete feeding stuff.
