Ziggity Systems drinker height adjustment sticks contain guide marks for setting the height of D-Max and T-Max Drinkers according to the age of the turkeys. One end of the stick is placed on the floor and the drinker height adjusted so that the edge of the drinking vessel is the same height as the correct age mark on the stick. It’s important that these height settings are followed because both the D-Max and T-Max drinker systems require that turkeys stretch their heads up and over the lip of the drinking vessel when drinking, which in turn activates the drinker valve and replenishes the vessel with water. This upright, over-the-vessel drinking minimizes spillage and litter moisture as well.
