The World Veterinary Poultry Association appointed several new officers at its recent Congress in Cancun, Mexico.
The new president is Dr. Trevor Bagust from the University of Melbourne, Australia. The retiring president, Professor Hafez Hafez from Germany, is joined in the vice presidencies by British poultry veterinarian Nigel Horrox. The new secretary/treasurer is Francois-Xavier Le Gros from France.
