Kansas State offers basic, advanced feed manufacturing courses

Kansas State University’s International Grains Program will be hosting Basic and Advanced Feed Manufacturing courses Sept. 26 through Oct. 7, 2011. The courses are geared toward feed mill owners, managers, supervisors, merchandisers and maintenance personnel as well as managers of livestock, poultry and agriculture facilities.

Kansas State University’s International Grains Program will be hosting Basic and Advanced Feed Manufacturing courses Sept. 26 through Oct. 7, 2011.

The courses are geared toward feed mill owners, managers, supervisors, merchandisers and maintenance personnel as well as managers of livestock, poultry and agriculture facilities. The basic course will focus on batching, mixing, extrusion and conditioning and pelleting; while the advanced course covers how the feed process impacts nutrition, feed safety and HACCP and quality control.
