Francois Madec of the French Food Safety Agency presented a talk on PRRS, focusing on their variability and the difficulties of diagnostics. The University of Melbourne's Dr. Frank Dunshea provided solutions to the profitability squeeze. Dr. Luciano Roppa, senior vice president of Provimi Brazil, gave a talk focusing on an overview of the global pork industry.
