Korea food manufacturer invests in animal feed research farm

Korea food manufacturer CJ CheilJedang has opened an animal feed research farm with a focus on improving the quality of fodder and expanding the company's market share in the global feed market, according to reports. The US$6.2-million farm will be used in developing new environmentally friendly fodder by eliminating pollutants from animal excrement and reducing methane gas.

The US$6.2-million farm will be used in developing new environmentally friendly fodder by eliminating pollutants from animal excrement and reducing methane gas. Experiments will be conducted on feed for cattle, goats, sheep, horses, chickens and pigs.
