Australia's Baiada Poultry Pty Limited reviewed flock management practices being carried out in the UK when Aviagen hosted company guests during a week-long visit.
The guests toured several Aviagen grandparent facilities and a number of Vion breeder farms at various stages of production. “It is always beneficial to provide customers with the opportunity to see operations in other countries,” said Alan Thomson, Aviagen Regional Commercial and Technical Manager. “Reviewing and comparing production management programs typically surfaces some new ideas or alternative thinking that can often help both parties in their quest for performance improvement.”
