The Animal Agriculture Alliance board of directors promoted Kay Johnson Smith to president and CEO of the nonprofit organization.
Johnson Smith has served the Alliance since 1994, first as vice president and later as executive vice president. Johnson Smith is the chief spokeswoman leading the national advocacy of the Alliance, supervising its outreach and educational programs in support of American animal agriculture.
