Danish plastics packaging producer Faerch Plast A/S announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in northeast England. The company says a large part of its production for the UK market will be moved to the new Durham-based plant as part of a continuing strategy to secure costs, improve efficiencies and minimize environmental impact.

Danish plastics packaging producer Faerch Plast A/S announced plans to open a new manufacturing facility in northeast England.

The company says a large part of its production for the UK market will be moved to the new Durham-based plant as part of a continuing strategy to secure costs, improve efficiencies and minimize environmental impact. The 14,000-square-meter facility is expected to begin production in summer 2012.
