US Poultry and Egg Association appoints research director

The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association appointed Dr. John Glisson as director of research.

Glisson, who succeeds retiring Dr. Henry Marks, will administer the association's research program encompassing all components of poultry and egg production and processing. Among his experience, Glisson recently retired as head of the department of population health at the University of Georgia, head of the department of avian medicine, and associate dean of public service and outreach at the University of Georgia's college of veterinary medicine.
