The China National Grain & Oils Information Center released a report that found China’s corn output rose 8.2% to a record 191.8 million metric tons in 2011, according to Bloomberg.
The corn output was higher than 184.5 million metric tons projected last month by the Center. The adjustment was made in line with the preliminary output release by the National Bureau of Statistics on Dec. 2, the center said in a separate report.
