Kenya's corn production may decline as a result of a fugal disease that has already destroyed more than 1,000 acres of the crop in the southwest part of the country, according to the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service.
The fungus is still undergoing testing for identification. Symptoms include leaf discoloration and wilting.
