Abit Massey, president emeritus of the Georgia Poultry Federation, received the Harold E. Ford Lifetime Achievement Award from the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association during the 2012 International Poultry Expo. The Harold E. Ford Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who shows extraordinary dedication and leadership in the poultry industry.

The Harold E. Ford Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual who shows extraordinary dedication and leadership in the poultry industry. The award is presented when the committee unanimously recognizes and endorses the need for occasional, unique recognition for exceptional contributions.
