Diestel Family Turkey Ranch recently donated 500 pounds of turkey to Revolution Foods, an Oakland, Ca.-based organization aimed at providing healthy meals to school children, through a one-month promotion on the Diestel Facebook page asking customers to “like” the page in return for a donation to Revolution.
Diestel gained 1,500 Facebook fans. “Revolution Foods has been a wonderful partner for us," said owner Joan Diestel. "We fully support their mission of providing healthy school lunches to children, so to be able to offer a promotion that benefits their cause was very exciting for us.”
