Topigs has completed its third breeding pig import to China in three months, sending 550 pigs to a feed company in Shanghai to become part of a new integrated pork production pyramid, according to the company.
This brings the total of Topigs pigs in China to 2,050 in the last three months, helping the company to expand its presence in China and assist the country's fast-growing professional pig industry. The pigs were imported from nucleus farms in Canada.
