Registration is now open for Auburn University's Poultry 101 workshop, an industry course focusing on maintaining meat quality and yield during poultry processing and further processing. 


The course, which takes place April 24 through 26, offers "hands-on" processing and further processing activities. Program topics include the history of the poultry industry, growout and nutrition fundamentals, processing, quality issues, further processing, food safety, emerging issues and international issues. Registration is $690 per person and can be done online at
