Tage Lysgaard honored at International Poultry Council Spring meeting

Tage Lysgaard, first vice chairman of the International Poultry Council and one of its founders, was honored during the 2012 Spring International Poultry Council meeting in Paris.

Tage Lysgaard, first vice chairman of the International Poultry Council and one of its founders, was honored during the 2012 Spring International Poultry Council meeting in Paris. 

Lysgaard, who stepped down from the International Poultry Council Executive Committee during the meeting, was recognized for his contributions to the organization, which grew out of an idea Lysgaard presented during a meeting of the World's Poultry Science Association conference in the 1970s.
