COOO Vitkon Produkt acquired a new HatchBrood facility in Belarus to expand its poultry hatching operations.
The new HatchBrood facility contains six HatchBrood units and has a total brooding capacity of 237,600 chicks, the company says. The HatchBrood facility is part of the Vitebsk, Belarus, hatchery, originally opened in 2009, which is equipped with MicroClimer Setters and Hatchers and has a capacity of 14.5 million d.o.c. per year.
