National Farmers' Union votes chairman of poultry board
Manchester-based enriched colony cage egg producer Duncan Priestner has been elected the new chairman of the National Farmers' Union's poultry board.
Cheshire farmer Mike Bailey re-elected as vice chairman for turkeys. James Hook, from Oxfordshire, was elected as vice chairman for broilers and Keith Henderson, from Newcastle, as vice chairman for eggs. Priestner has been with the National Farmers' Union since 1985.
