Former Alltech intern gains recognition at World's Poultry Congress

Former Alltech intern Rebecca Hall will be awarded a student program award at the World's Poultry Congress in Brazil, which will be held August 5–9 in Salvador, Bahia. Hall, a student in the agriculture biotechnology program at the University of Kentucky, is being recognized for her research entitled, “Effect of Zinc Source and Level on Zinc Transporter mRNA Levels in the Small Intestine of 21-day Old Broiler Chicks.”

Former Alltech intern Rebecca Hall will be awarded a student program award at the World's Poultry Congress in Brazil, which will be held August 5–9 in Salvador, Bahia.

Hall, a student in the agriculture biotechnology program at the University of Kentucky, is being recognized for her research entitled, “Effect of Zinc Source and Level on Zinc Transporter mRNA Levels in the Small Intestine of 21-day Old Broiler Chicks.” Hall will also be spending the week prior to the conference on a tour of the southern Brazilian poultry industry.
