Livestock Marketing Association names 2012-14 president

The Livestock Marketing Association has announced Tim Starks as president for the 2012-14 term. Starks grew up on a farm-and-ranch operation near Cherokee, Okla., where he was a customer of the local livestock auction market for 30 years.

The Livestock Marketing Association has announced Tim Starks as president for the 2012-14 term.

Starks grew up on a farm-and-ranch operation near Cherokee, Okla., where he was a customer of the local livestock auction market for 30 years. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in agricultural economics in 1989, then received a degree in veterinary medicine from the school in 1992.
