Chr. Hansen sees 10 percent growth in 2011–2012

Chr. Hansen has reported 10 percent organic growth in the first nine months of 2011–2012, as well as a 19 percent increase in EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes), according to the company's latest outlook. Revenue for the first nine months of 2011–2012 was €514 million, up 8 percent compared to the same time in 2010–2011, and EBIT was €135 million.

Chr. Hansen has reported 10 percent organic growth in the first nine months of 2011–2012, as well as a 19 percent increase in EBIT (earnings before interest and taxes), according to the company's latest outlook.

Revenue for the first nine months of 2011–2012 was €514 million, up 8 percent compared to the same time in 2010–2011, and EBIT was €135 million. Third-quarter revenue stood at €181 million, up 7 percent from the third quarter in 2010–2011, with 9 percent organic growth. 

Chr. Hansen has revised its outlook up for the remainder of the year. "Based on the continued solid performance in Q3 we have adjusted our expectations, with organic revenue growth now expected at 9–11 percent (excluding carmine price effect) while the profitability is expected to improve compared to last year with an EBIT margin between 26.5–27 percent," said CEO Lars Frederiksen.
