In addition, employees and the company contributed $5,000 to offset the cost of ingredients. The partnership with Stop Hunger Now came to realization through House of Raeford Farms F.L.O.C.K., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by the company. In the recently completed fiscal year 2012, House of Raeford distributed over one-half million servings of chicken and turkey products in four states. Recipients included local food banks and other feeding programs as well as fundraising events that benefited persons with critical needs.
