Promotions at Tyson Foods

Archie Schaffer has been appointed Tyson Foods' executive vice president, corporate affairs.

Schaffer, previously senior vice president for external relations, has been with Tyson for 18 years.

The company has also promoted Sara Lilygren, Tyson's vice president, federal governmental relations in Washington D.C., to the post of senior vice president, external relations. Lilygren will move to Springdale, Ark. 

Chuck Penry, currently legislative director, government relations for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, will take her place.

Also, two other promotions took place earlier this year. Todd Menotti, former director, federal government relations, was named senior director and Nora Venegas, manager, federal government relations, was promoted to director.
